Hi, I’m Amina, and I invite you to compassionately explore the full spectrum of your humanness, reclaiming your right to be heard, seen, and liberated.

My approach is grounded in anti-oppressive, sex-positive, and trauma-informed frameworks, creating a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can freely explore your anxieties, traumas, self-esteem challenges, and relationship barriers.

I am deeply passionate about working with individuals and couples across all types of relationships—romantic, sexual, familial, and friendships. My work centers on cultivating self-awareness and identifying recurring patterns that can create tension or disconnection. By exploring these dynamics, I help clients navigate challenges, resolve conflicts, and rebuild stronger, more authentic connections.

My area of expertise include infidelity, repairing harm/accountability, fertility anxieties, polyamory and other non-traditional relationship structures, neurodivergence, sexual violence survivors, desire discrepancy, kinks and fetishes.

  • No person or experience exists in a vacuum. I believe that establishing a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental space is crucial in supporting you through your unique journey. As your counsellor, my priority is to create an environment where you feel truly seen, heard, and empowered. My approach is rooted in the belief that every individual has inherent worth and deserves to live with authenticity.

I work within an intersectional framework that recognizes the ways in which various aspects of identity—such as gender, sexuality, race, culture, and ability—intersect and impact your lived experiences. I specialize in providing a space where all genders, sexualities, desires, and relationship structures are welcomed and respected. Whether you are exploring anxiety, trauma, kink/fetishes, self-esteem, or the challenges you face within your relationships, I am committed to creating a compassionate, trauma-informed environment for you to explore and grow.

In therapy, I use a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and pleasure-positive lens to support your healing. I honour the complexity of your experiences and the ways in which your mind, body, and relationships shape your emotional landscape. My therapeutic approach is versatile, drawing from modalities such as parts work, narrative therapy, intersectional feminism, and sex-positive interventions. I believe in the power of collaboration, where we work together to help you make sense of your internal experiences and the patterns of relating to yourself and others that may no longer serve you. Whether we are addressing emotional regulation, overcoming trauma, or developing new ways of thinking and being, I strive to empower you to embrace your full self.
